It is a New Year and a fresh start. It is the time of year when people start to reflect over the last twelve months and we start to think of all of the crap we want to let go of. However we also must remember what has worked for us and what we need to hold on tight to. These include fabulous products that we cannot get enough of.
There are a few products I have discovered in 2016 that will be coming right with me into 2017 and will form part of my skincare and hair routine. Over the last year I have become more adventurous and have started to try new products, but I have also stuck to some trusted favourites. Below are a few of my favourites things.

Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner
This is the first conditioner I ever tried when I went natural. The creamy formula leaves my hair so soft and easy to detangle. I absolutely love this conditioner. I can also use it for a number of purposes, so it is great value for money. I use it as a leave- in, to de-tangle, to re-moisturise my hair and I also use it to make my own braid spray. I have tried quite a few conditioners but I always return back to my day one!

Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter
I discovered this product in 2016 and my coils absolutely love it. Super defined twits and soft coils that lasts. What really impresses me about the Almond Jai twisting butter is the definition that is achieved that does not leave my hair hard or greasy.
The butter has a delicious smell and is also a great moisturiser. This product is my number one recommendation for my new purchases in 2016. Check out my previous review on the twisting butter by clicking here.

As I am coconut co-wash
If you are someone who co-washes as part of their regime, then you need to try The As I am coconut co wash. This product definitely lives up to the hype. It lathers up like a shampoo and leaves my 4c strands feeling clean, soft and smelling great. I use it in-between shampooing or when I have recently washed my hair with shampoo and want to avoid excessive stripping of the hair within in a short period.
The coconut co wash allows me to easily detangle my 4C strands and on the rinse out there is no dryness of the hair.

Little Ondine nail polish
Is a nail polish company that has natural ingredients such as organic colourants and natural resin. As a result of the natural ingredients the nail polishes are odour free. The polishes are removed by simply peeling them off, which means you can switch it up at any time without the horrible smell traditional nail polishes have and you do not require nail polish remover.
I found taking this nail polish on holiday with me extremely handy. Easy to change colours whilst sitting at the pool and the polish lasted for a week, even when I took a dip in the pool or sea.
Little Ondine have amazing colors which are still extremely glossy. Once removed there is no damage to your own nail and they also offer a base and top coat if you want extra protection and longevity.

Happy Naturals Argan Oil Body Butter
Having dry skin can be an issue when trying to find a body butter which has lasting moisture. Happy Naturals Argan Oil Butter leaves my skin feels soft for the entire day without needing to re-apply. I have no white marks and it is also moisturising enough to apply on the feet. The body butter is packed with shea butter, coconut and argan oil allowing the skin to stay hydrated. Best of all it can be purchased on the high street!
