It’s only the beginning of January and your bank balance is on the low side...
You have already spent most of Decembers pay on Christmas presents and inflated New Year's eve bar entries. It is a new decade and you have set a New Year’s resolution to save more, but you are already itching to buy that new eyeshadow pallet. Pay day seems so far away but you still want to treat yourself.                                                                                                                              That’s why I am here, to help seek out those clean beauty bargains that don’t cost an arm and a leg, but are worthwhile adding to your bathroom cabinet.

ByBi Bakuchiol Booster
ByBi is a natural eco skincare brand that produces one hundred percent natural formulas, the products range from serums to facial scrubs. I have been using the Bakuchiol Booster religiously at night for the last two months and I love the results. The name of the product might be a bit of a tongue twister to say, but basically bakuchiol found in olive squalene is a plant based alternative to retinol. Bakuchiol helps with collagen production and the appearance of the skin. This product is great for all my over thirty and fabulous gals who want to prevent wrinkles from forming.
The oil spreads easily on my skin with a smooth finish. It can be used on its own or also by adding it to your night cream, just a few drops is all that is needed.                                                    In the morning my skin is so much softer and I have started to notice an improvement in the texture of my skin. I have had no skin irritation since using the product as it only contains one percent bakuchiol, making the formula very gentle on the skin.

Nails Inc- Green Fingers
The nail polish contains plant based ingredients such as soya and potato, the formula is vegan and it is also free from harsh chemicals. Nails Inc- Green fingers is one of the better natural nail polishes that I have used on the market. I bought the colour raw which is a combination of lavender and pink, it complements my dark skin beautifully due to the contrast in shades. What I really like about the nail polish is that it produces a really glossy finish. In terms of durability I found it fairly long lasting as chips started to occur after a few days, but this is similar to any other conventional nail polish I have used. I would recommend applying two coats of the polish to achieve a shiny finish.

Sukin Pore Refining Facial Scrub
This facial scrub is perfect if you have oily skin, I am prone to an oily T-zone and the scrub helped to gently cleanse my face without drying it out. I am also suffering from several blemishes on my forehead at the moment and the scrub was delicate enough not to irritate my spots as it contains a minimal amount of natural exfoliating beads. The bamboo charcoal helps to clarify the skin from impurities and the Rooibos tea can soothe acne.  As I am experiencing a few skin issues at the moment I have been using the scrub on a daily basis.
Sukin is a great natural clean beauty brand that contains no synthetic fragrances, parabens, and artificial colours amongst a whole list of other chemicals. I have used a variety of their products and they are always of high quality, but at very affordable prices.

Soaper Duper Coconut and Shea Body Wash
Body wash is obviously a staple part of the shower routine, so if you are transitioning to natural products you don’t want to spend a lot of money on a product that you have to purchase frequently. Soaper Duper body wash is really economical as the formula is not too runny in comparison to other natural shower gels  and it lasts long, as a small amount of the body wash foams up well and spreads over a large area. The only con to the body wash is it does contain fragrance, which is an umbrella term that most beauty companies’ use and it could mean a number of synthetic chemicals could be contained in the ‘fragrance’ ingredient. However the body wash is ninety five percent naturally derived, and it contains lush ingredients like Jojoba seed oil, coconut water and Shea butter.
