Hey guys, I am back with another Hey Bellissimo recommends post, keeping you guys informed of new natural hair and beauty products. Keep reading to see what I am loving this month. Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil Intensive Repair Masque This product is a new addition to the Sunny Isle hair range. I was quite surprised seeing this product in the shops as I was only aware of the hair oils the Sunny isle company produced. Little did I know that the brand has many different products from shampoos to a hair mousse. I started using the Repair Masque after cutting off a few split ends and I wanted a product that would maintain the health of my remaining strands. On every wash day I have been applying the Intensive Repair Masque as a deep treatment for thirty minutes with heat added from a steam cap. Black Jamaican Castor Oil is my number one favourite oil to use on my 4C kinks. The oil is great for retaining moisture and promoting growth. After repeated usage for over two months my hair was definitely revitalised and there has been no more breakage at the ends. My type 4C hair is always left feeling so soft at the end of the washing process. Over the last few months I have noticed a lot of hair growth, but I cannot really tell if this product has been the reason for the growth of my hair. As I believe that the growth is a result of a combination of factors, such as protective styling, drinking plenty of water and a variety of products. One thing I have noticed is the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Intensive Repair Masque has significantly reduced the amount of breakage experienced when I detangle my hair after washing. My hair feels really moisturised afterwards and it has reduced the number of strands snapping off when detangling. I know the number one thing you are thinking is does the repair masque have that unpleasant smell Black Jamaican Castor oil has? I can let you know that in fact the repair masque smells really lovely and nothing like the traditional smell of the oil. I love this product so much I will definitely be purchasing it again. Schmidt’s Coconut Pineapple- Sensitive Skin Natural deodorant As you guys know I am trying to slowly switch up my beauty and hygiene routine to avoid using harsh formulas and chemicals on my skin. This was my first time trying out a natural deodorant and I was a little nervous at first, the number one thing that ran through my mind was what if I become a sweaty Betty! The Schmidt’s Coconut Pineapple- Sensitive Skin Natural deodorant is a stick deodorant and I can describe the formula as quite thick and creamy in consistency. The deodorant kept me dry throughout the day and on application it has a really sweet and fruity smell. Even after going to the gym the deodorant worked well with no bad odours. The ingredients contain natural products such as coconut oil and Shea butter. There are just a few things that could be improved on, firstly is the white marks left and secondly the gorgeous smell does fade quite quickly. Despite these cons in comparison to regular roll on or spray formulas the natural deodorant performs to a similar level for keeping me fresh throughout the day. Passion Fruit Curls Control Paste
I’m not sure why I have never mentioned the Passion Fruit Curls Control Paste in my heybellissimo recommends feature before, as this is hands down my most favourite edge control. As well as using the paste on my edges it also works amazingly on the rest of my hair when I am looking to go for a sleek look. Now I am not saying I am achieving Sade levels of sleekness or Chilli from TLC baby hairs on my type 4C hair, but it does the job of keeping my hair as smooth and neat as possible. The control paste is great at giving a firm hold without leaving your hair crunchy and hard. It also keeps my kinks soft and moisturised without being overly greasy. Most importantly is there is no flaking from the paste. Caron X Let me know in the comments section any products you would like me to try Don’t forget to follow, like and share

If you want to alter your natural hair, then that is okay, however, do not over do it. You have a really great hair here, and I advise that you take proper care of it. I know that you want to bring color to it, but believe me, it is not worth it. You are just going to destroy your hair if you keep doing this. I know that you can do the right thing, so please, just lay off of your hair.
