A few weeks ago I noticed that my hair was feeling beyond dry, brittle in fact. Obviously panic set in. Had a missed a vital step in my regimented hair routine? Not worn my head scarf, or not drank enough water? Nope, the answer was much simpler, the weather had changed and my 4C hair was definitely feeling it.
The winter season requires a change in my hair regime, but I still stick to the LOC method, which I feel my hair reacts best to. Below are the products that I am currently using to keeps my kinks in check. Leave in Cantu Coconut Oil Shine and Hold Spray. I am currently using this product more due to the price being reasonable, rather than being one of my favourites. However it does do the job of hydrating my hair. Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil. I cannot live without this oil, sun, wind or rain, this oil will always be part of my routine. As the weather changes I tend to use it twice a day. As I Am Double Butter Cream. My hair cannot get enough of this stuff. It is packed with a variety of natural ingredients. The creamy texture leaves my kinks feeling soft and moisturized even at the end of the day. It has an added bonus of smelling heavenly, the sweet smell is amazing. Days after using these products my hair was feeling soft and moisturized and ready for the rain and wind that comes along with winter
