Every naturalista whatever the hair type wants soft and moisturised kinks or curls....
No one wants to be walking around with dry and crusty hair, that look is not cute. It is so important to use a hair cream that assists in sealing in moisture and allows for easy styling. My DIY whipped Shea butter hair cream contains fabulous natural ingredients that will nourish your hair from root to tip. It is also handy to make when you have run out of your usual hair cream and cannot wait for the Amazon delivery to arrive. If you like experimenting like me with different ingredients, and enjoy making your own natural hair products this is a very simple and quick recipe to make.

My whipped Shea butter hair cream includes just three ingredients! I am a little science nerd and I love learning about the properties of natural hair products and how they can benefit my hair. So let me give you a little breakdown of why I have included each ingredient.
Firstly the base of the cream is Shea butter, which is a staple natural hair product. It’s is packed with essential fatty acids from the Shea nut. It also contains vitamin A and E. These properties help not only to moisturise the hair and scalp, but to also seal in the moisture. I prefer to use creamy Shea butter in particular because the consistency is already soft and I can easily whip up the mixture with a spoon, no electric mixer is needed.

Next is the cold pressed avocado oil which contains biotin and also fatty acids. The minerals found in avocado can penetrate the hair shaft, seal the cuticle cells and reduce hair breakage.

The final ingredient in this hair concoction is rosemary essential oil. This oil can help with hair loss, such as patchy areas of alopecia. It works by increasing circulation to stimulate hair growth.

Whipped Shea Butter Hair Cream Recipe

1. Place the creamy Shea butter, avocado oil and 4 drops of rosemary essential oil into a bowl.

2. Whip up the ingredients using a spoon. Again if you have not used creamy Shea butter you would require an electric mixture to break down the thickness of  the raw Shea butter.

3.  Place in an air tight container and use as you desire.

The finish results is a lush whipped Shea butter cream ready to be applied to your kinks. You can experiment with your favourite hair ingredients to create your perfect blend.

Have fun creating.
