This post is a celebration, a shout out and big up to all of the wonderful UK natural hair care brands that are rising in the industry....
UK black owned natural hair care companies are catering to the needs of our hair. In particular there is a shift towards naturally formulated products at affordable prices and many online brands provide these clean products minus the nasty chemicals. Who knows the needs of your natural hair other than a fellow sister right.
Here are my favourite natural hair brands in the UK right now that are doing big tings! The following brands are by black women for black women.

The Natural Hair Tool Kit
The Natural Hair Tool Kit website provides hair tools and accessories that meet the needs of naturalistas. The products are reasonably priced styling or hair accessories that we use to take care of our natural hair on a daily basis. Products range from beautiful satin bonnets, hair clips to a paddle brush dryer.
I have been using the Detangling Brush during my hair washing process for many months now. The brush may not look like much, but the simple design of the separating bristles allows the brush to navigate through my tangled hair without ripping it out. I have tried detangling brushes in the past but always found that I experienced too much hair loss in the process, so I reverted back to the finger detangling technique which took ages. This detangling brush is amazing at separating my 4C kinks during the wash day. The detangling process has reduced dramatically with the use of this brush; it has been a game changer in terms of time and also less hair breakage.

Primal Beauty
Primal Beauty is one of my favourite UK natural hair companies. The products contain 100% natural ingredients that work effectively in caring for natural hair, especially my 4C hair texture which is prone to dryness. Not only do they provide clean formulated products, but the ingredients are also ethically sourced.
The Black Soap Shampoo is a must for my wash day routine, I use the shampoo to cleanse my hair. The shampoo lathers quickly with just a small amount and easily removes product build up, without drying out my strands. I find the shampoo very moisturising for my strands to the point that my kinks start to pop without any conditioner. It is packed with some of my favourite essential oils like lemongrass and rosemary. The main ingredient is black soap,  which is known for cleansing the skin without stripping it of its natural oils. Black soap also has anti-bacterial properties and works well on sensitive skin.

Almocado
I love this company because they produce hand-made products with organic ingredients and no synthetic fragrances.
My favourite products from Almocado is the Peppermint Tea Moisture Mist which contains all natural ingredients and the fragrance of the spray is lovely. It has a really distinct essential oil smell that is not overpowering.                                                                                              With a few sprays of the mist your scalp will quickly feel the effects of the peppermint with a soothing tingling sensation that is just heavenly. The Peppermint Tea Moisture Mist also contains many other natural ingredients such as soy protein for hair strength and aloe barbadensis which is the posh way for saying the juice from the leaf of the plant. Aloe barbadensis helps to draw in the moisture to your hair preventing dryness.
This leave in spray conditioner refreshes my dry hair in seconds, leaving it soft and hydrated. After using I can style my hair without any effort and it stays moisturised for the entire day, especially when I have my hair in an afro puff.
